RETURNS POLICY
Changed Your Mind? No Problem.
If you've received your order and wish to return it, you’re welcome to do so within 14 days of receiving the parcel—as long as the products remain unopened and unused.
Please note:
We only accept returns of the entire parcel.
Items must be in their original, unopened packaging and in the same condition as received.
Please note: our balms are made using tallow, a nutrient-rich fat derived from beef. Due to its natural origin, there may be a subtle scent. This is a normal characteristic of the ingredient, and as such, we do not offer refunds based on scent preferences.
Conditions for Returns
To be eligible for a return:
Products must not be opened, used, tested, or swatched.
All items must be returned in their original box and/or packaging.
Any return request outside the 14-day window cannot be accepted.
Once your return is received and inspected (within 14 days of us receiving it), we will process your refund and notify you via email.
Non-Refundable Items
Shipping costs are non-refundable.
Items marked as Final Sale cannot be returned or exchanged.
Damaged Parcels
If your order arrives damaged, please:
Take clear photos of the outer packaging and damaged item immediately upon receipt.
Email us the images so we can begin an investigation and offer a resolution.
⚠️ Without photographic evidence, we cannot offer a refund or replacement.
Missing Items
If your parcel arrives with any items missing, please:
Take a photo of the contents as received (including packaging) and send it to us.
We will look into the issue and provide a solution.
⚠️ As with damage claims, photo proof is required for us to investigate and resolve any missing item reports.
Original, Unopened Packaging Only
At Howton Tallow, we prioritise product quality and safety. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns of any items that have been opened or tampered with.
Accepting only sealed, unused products ensures we can maintain our high standards and guarantee safe, fresh products for all customers.
Customer Responsibility
Returned parcels are the responsibility of the customer until they arrive at our warehouse.
We recommend:
Using a tracked shipping service.
Keeping proof of postage in case follow-up is needed.
Please ensure:
Your return includes the correct items and your order number.
Items sent incorrectly, or without an identifiable order number, cannot be refunded and will not be returned to you.
Howton Tallow is not liable for return shipping fees, lost return parcels, or mislabelled returns.
Refund Process
We aim to process all refunds within 14 business days of receiving your return.
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.
We are unable to refund to a different card or payment account.
You’ll receive an email notification once your return has been processed and the refund issued.
